Patterns and instructions for making the various members of the Littlefield doll family, from grandparents to grandchildren. Includes a family history. This description may be from another edition of this product.
A friend of mine makes dollhouse people clothing but wanted a family of handmade dolls to go with them. This book was written so that even older children could make this "little family." Cute pictures, simple instructions and line drawings all contributed to making this exactly the type of project for me to undertake. Have made several of the family people already and will be sending these to my friend for her birthday! There is a lot of opportunity to add your own ideas and is a great lap project to do in the evenings while watching a favorite program on TV.
Great book for all ages

This is a great book with good patterns to make your own cloth family for a dollhouse in the 1"=1' scale. You get grandparents, parents and children including an infant. The clothes are Victorian but you could easily modify them if you want. Other dollhouse doll books are for making dolls in polymer clay, something not easily accomplished and I don't think I'd let kids play with them! These faces are embroidered, but I think I'll either paint them or use indelible markers so the thread doesn't get chewed off. It's written for children but you can ignore that and just use the patterns.
