Dogs

Dogs is part of a series of books by Michaela Miller about pets. It is very simply written with beautiful photographs. As a school librarian, I have seen it checked out at least once a day(sometimes more often!). Elementary aged children love non-fiction when the illustrations are beautiful photographs and the text is accurate and easily understood. This book has both. The contents of the book includes basic information a child needs to know when considering having a dog as a pet. It has also been endorsed by the ASPCA.
