Do-It-Yourself Graphic Design

This was such a great little book aimed at the would-be designer who wants to know about the basics. It has nice layout and good solid information on getting started, element of design, copyfitting, typeface, layout etc. There is a lot packed in one small easy to read package and it is too bad the author and publisher don't update to include more modern technology. It remains one of my favorite quick reference books for any sort of home graphics project like newsletters, stationary, invitations etc.
