Every Child & Adult Should Read This Book by Mutiya Vision

This book is written as a touching poem about a boy boy born with no hands but discovers as he encounters obstacles along life's journey, that has all the tools he needs to be an incredible human being. The opening line states, "It gave God great pleasure to create me. In her eyes I am a trophy of great beauty." What a powerful idea for a child to embody. It shares with children that they are gifts created perfectly to to accomplish great things. Instead of wallowing in pity, the main character makes the most out of his situation. He studies to improve his mind, is good son to his mother, excels in soccer, and has a good heart as displayed in an illustration of him feeding a squirrel with his toes. The ending line of the poem states, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that's true. The only sight that matters, is that beauty within you". I think the world would be a better place if everyone had half the, warmth, courage, compassion and inner strength the boy in this poem/book demonstrated. As a parent and teacher I highly recommend this book. I think this book should be in every home and classroom. It can help children learn to accept and respect differences in themselves and one another.
