Generally, the teaching approach is to take a small project and show you step by step how various tools and techniques are used. The book is full color and the authors show you in color exactly what happens each time a tool or technique is applied. Many other books on the market do not have full color nor do they show all that is being done; they rely instead on descriptive prose. The subject here concerns visual material and to learn it we need to see what happens when we apply a tool or technique. A valuable bonus is the free technical support web site that you can use to ask questions via e-mail for clarifying difficulties. I found their answers to my questions to be clear and thorough. In my opinion, it is by far the very best book currently available for learning PSE. You will not go wrong with this book.
