Digital Performer 4 Ignite!

Tough crowd here! :-)This book is a good overview of Digital Performer, and will get you past newby into intermediate level quite well. If you haven't used DP, it's a very deep program that has a high learning curve (as do all heavy sequencer progs). This book will help get you going and getting the basics under control. If you've bought the program, then you're no doubt finding yourself scratching your head at times with the reference manual. This book fits perfectly between the MOTU Getting Started Guide and the Reference Manual.Nicely done graphics, good if you're a visual learner.

This book is great for the beginner. I'm new to Digital Performer and found the manual that came with the program to be intimidating. This book was very visual and took me step by step through the basics. It got me up and running a lot faster then if I only had the manual.

The manual that comes with Digital Performer is a ridiculous encylopedia that's really confusing. This book is great because it gets you up and running quickly. I reccomend it to anyone who isn't an expert in Digital Performer.

If you have any experience with Digital Performer than you know that it can be a quite daunting application. This book is awesome. It give step by step visual instructions on how to accomplish common tasks in Digital Performer. I would reccomend it to anyone who has purchased Digital Performer.
