Fantastic book

Really enjoyable book. Heitz created an interesting background to go with themes people are familiar with in the fantasy world about Dwarves, Men, Elves and Orcs. The world of Girdlegard is unique without being alien to fantasy lovers and the author does an excellent job developing his own story that keeps the reader engaged.

EPIC

This book was amazing!!!! I loved every bit of it. I couldn't put it down and read all of its pages well within a week. I am still blown away by the pictures the author painted in my mind and the characters are fantastic and at times hilarious. I am currently reading the second book and it is just as good. If there is a third one I will be waiting in line for that one. Overall one of the best fantasy books I have ever read.

the dwarves

i don't normally read fantasy but when i got into the book i just couldn't put it down.

Great Book

I saw this book in the book store, and I just had to have it. I didn't know anything about the book other then reading the cover. Overall I liked it a lot. It's a great read and it was hard for me to put down. I heard there are 5 books total, but only 2 translated into English. Can't wait to read them all.

Just 3 Stars?

How can anyone give this fantastic book just 3 stars is beyond me. My gosh I was hoping it would never end. It might have been a little heavy on the battle stuff for me but that is just me. I hate it when they do all that fansy dansy stuff with the wizards and warlocks. This guy peppered it just right with all the magic. The only thing I wish he had done was shorten making of the axe. Other than that I loved it and can hardly wait for the next book. 3 Stars? Who are you kidding? 5 PLUS Stars and I urge everyone to get this book and read it. Best book I have read in a very long time.
