Dictionary of Pipe Organ Stops

This book is a great guide to the common and not-so-common stops on pipe organs found throughout the world. I remember waiting almost a year or so for my copy to arrive from a book locating agency in the early 1990's. Although very highly priced (as of today February 2005, I've seen the price as high as $499), this book is a good tool to have if you are going to be registering or building a new pipe organ. It's the most comprehensive guide I have seen to this date.
