awesome

this book was one of the best so far! This author is brilliant and creative and I cant wait for the next book of hers to come out.

Demons, sexy erotica and a great story!

This is the sixth book in The Otherworld Series. I strongly recommend you read these books in order. So much is carried over from one book to the next and by reading them in order, you will see the characters grow and the how the new ones fit into the lives of these three sisters. This one stars Menolly, the vampire of the D'Artigo sisters. Menolly is so much more than a vampire, she is also half Fae and half human. The D'Artigo sisters are operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency and are important to the war being waged against Shadow Wing. Menolly finds a diary in one of the upstairs rooms of the Wayfarer Bar that she runs and it peaks her curiosity about the writer. In the course of trying to find out more about the author of the diary, Menolly finds that a lot of young women have gone missing in a certain part of town. A lot of the women have been Fae and this becomes even more involved when a big nasty demon is summoned by a bunch of frat boys gone bad and it starts feeding on the Fae. The D'Artigo sisters must band together with all of their lovers, friends and allies to fight this demon and bring about the down fall of the Frat Boys that are really a front for a demon worshiping club and find out how the missing women, the demon and the Frat Boys all fit together in this mess. A well written, fast paced book. Ms. Galenorn never fails to delver and this one has the meaty story, the continuation of series and the great erotica. A must read for all of Ms. Galenorn fans!

demon mistress

Narrated by Menolly, "Demon Mistress" is the 6th entry into the Sisters of the Moon/Otherworld series. This series seems to really be hitting its stride, & I glad that I have stuck with it from the start. I enjoy Menolly's no nonsense point of view, & this entry made me like Menolly even more. I was so very glad to see a dictionary in the back of the book to aid with remembering the world that the author has built. There are 2 plots that weave together nicely, one involving a missing Fae & vampire & the other a secret society of young men who have been summoning demons. Of course, the sisters work nonstop to make right the havoc that the society has caused, & Iris, Maggie, & the sister's lovers & friends are all in the mix. I really have grown to love this motley crew, & I hope there are many more books to come in this series.

My favorite paranormal "romance"

With so many authors doing ripoffs of more well known authors and other writers just devolving to sex and shock, I love getting new Otherworld books. Yasmine's reliable. She tells a good story with a plot that needs resolution, antagonists and protagonists that kick butt and her world is well thought out even though she's juggling 3 very different main characters in this series and does each sister's voice in first person. My favorite sister is Camille because I identify most with her, but after this second arc in her Otherworld series, I'm really starting to love Menolly a lot more too, and this book was just perfect. Menolly finds the diary of a previous fae bartender which makes her wonder what happened to her, she finds out she disappeared, at the same time, there is a new demonic threat that's attacking the fae and attacks her sister. With the help of her sisters and a lot of great male characters, they find out what's going on and kick butt. So, this description sounds like it could be another popular series? No. The men are not arm and eye candy, they are strong in their own right, and Menolly is not sleeping her way through them. The whole series handles relationships in a matter of fact way instead of trying to titillate and shock you with them. It's part of what I love about it so much, it's more mature then that. The focus is on the story and how the relationships affect the characters and the story. Start with the beginning and read through to the end. This series clued me into her books and she's a solid mystery writer. Clues and information to find things out instead of stumbling into answers accidentally and her skill at weaving the stories make them very enjoyable.

super urban romantic fantasy

In Seattle, Menolly D'Atigo still adjusts to being a vampire while working with her sisters Camille the witch (see DRAGON WYTCH) and Delilah the shapeshifting Death Maiden (see NIGHT HUNTER) for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. However, while cleaning the bar where she works, she finds fascinating items left behind by the elf bartender who returned to Otherworld. A diary the elf kept insists he felt he was stalked and implies he may have been killed instead of going home. However, while Menolly considers what to do, a new radically different demonic assault begins to absorb the life force out of the fae. There appears no counterattack to prevent this threat from succeeding and evidence mounts that a quisling human group is abetting the demon Lord Shadow Wing. The latest Otherworld urban romantic fantasy is a super entry as Menolly leads the charge this time. Once again there is a ton of support players allies and villains that make the well written numerous subplots even more complex. Fans will enjoy the latest D'Atigo sister's take on their adventures as this time the trio tries solve the mystery of the bartending elf while also attempting to keep two worlds safe from the demon horde.
