Great Book

Yet another great, nightmare inducing book by Darren. I have read this series twice over, in my teens and ten years later in my twenties and I still love it!

Fun Read!

Just as good as the others in the Demonata series! Fun read and perfect for any age really. Darren Shan is a really great writer.

From J. Kaye's Book Blog

Grubbs, on the verge of being destroyed by Lord Loss, is rescued by Beranabus and taken to his cave in the middle of nowhere. When he arrives he meets Kernel Fleck, a boy that has been traveling with Beranabus for years, and finds out that a tunnel has opened up and hordes of demons are coming through. The demons spread through the United States killing untold millions. They soon form a last minute squad of disciples to shut down the tunnel. Bec also helps them and Beranabus discovers more about the Kah-Gash, a powerful demon artifact that leaves him frightened. A lot of betrayal going around and someone dies once again, but this time it's at the hands of Grubbs. DEMON APOCALYPSE is a totally awesome book. In my opinion this is the best one out of all the other books in the Demonata series. The weird thing about this series was that it didn't connect all the prior books until I read this one. In the second book, DEMON THIEF, Darren talks about Kernel Fleck and says nothing about Grubbs. In book four, BEC, Darren talks about the little priestess Bec, and once more saying nothing about Grubbs. But in this book, all ends meet and everything makes sense.

Whooh

Awesome taskic. So graffic, so detailed. Darren Shan writes awesome books. Make sure you read the other 5 in the series first, thought.

Grubbs Grady is back, and he wishes he wasn't. There are two things that Grubbs regrets the most: letting his transformation take away the lives of the ones he loved, and trusting Juni. When we last left him, Grubbs was on a plane ride with Juni, who promised to take care of him and love him. But while on board, Juni's true colors appeared, and they weren't so pretty. Turns out she had been working for Lord Loss and had used Grubbs' secrets and trust against him, lying to not only him but also to Dervish, who had fallen for her as well. Now Grubbs is trying to fend for himself, which isn't looking so bright since Lord Loss' little helpers are happily feeding on the passengers on the plane, while Lord Loss himself is trying to take Grubbs into his realm. Of course, Grubbs would rather die than to have to go with Lord Loss. But there isn't much he can do since no one is there to help him fight off all of the demons. Then an unlikely hero comes and saves Grubbs. Yet Grubbs knows that this isn't the end of Lord Loss, who is furious at him for ruining his game of chess. He knows that Lord Loss will not let anything stand in his way while trying to take revenge, but Grubbs isn't giving up without a fight. He survived more than once. He can surely survive again, right? Edgy, intense, and more gruesome than the other novels in THE DEMONATA series, Darren Shan does it again with DEMON APOCALYPSE, creating a captivating novel that will leave you speechless. Darker than ever, we are just glad to see Grubbs be the one to save the world, because without him, who can? Reviewed by: Randstostipher "tallnlankyrn" Nguyen

Demon's Apocalypse

This is a very good book. Darren Shan keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time trying to guess what happens. You will start to read the book then you wont be able to put it down, before you know it you are done with it. Exellent book.
