My dear friend who originally set up my addiction to Deltora was not too hot on this particular trilogy. Frankly, I loved it. Ms. Rodda took a chance with a rather traditional fantasy/sci-fi approach and it worked with a fresh Deltora twist. But that's all in the end. The majority of this trilogy is a mission to save the enslaved of the contintent, the means a journey through underground kingdoms of a forgotten people...
