book by VC Andrews

My elderly aunt had read two other books by VC Andrews but isn't physically able to get out to find "Delia's Gift." I placed the order and it was delivered the day before Mother's Day. Perfect gift.

Great!

Excellent book as are all of the V.C. Andrews books! I hard a hard time putting it down.

A warm story of courage and struggle evolves

In the third Delia book of the series, a boating tragedy has ended her romance with a wealthy politician's son - and Delia is carrying his child. Adan's father intends to blackmail her and a cruel nursemaid keeps track of every move: can Delia gain freedom after her son arrives? A warm story of courage and struggle evolves for general-interest novel fans.

Really love V.C. Andrews!!

This is the third book in this series and I am enjoying it. The first one in the series started slow but then picked up. I like the touches of spanish in the three books. Great beach escape reading book!!

BREATHTAKING. AMAZING HOW GOOD THIS IS.

How pleased I am to review another VCA book. This was one amazing thrill ride. Every time things seemed to go well for Delia, life threw her another awful curve. I was so pleased to see a strong female VCA character. Delia never comprised her heritage, her principals, or her faith in other people. Thrilling hardly describes this book or this series. Not since WILLOW have I been so moved by a VCA character. While you need to read the book to get all the good details, I will say I don't think I've ever seen someone so pursued by villians. Of course by now you know about Aunt Isabella, although she took a minor role in this book. But Isabella really came through in the end as she defended her family and set a course to be a real mother to her children again, as well as a real aunt to Delia. Sophia's role was minor... but she too redeemed herself. The true villian here was Mrs. Newell. Oh, we could see through her, couldn't we? What an awful, awful woman! And then Fani! I wanted to like Fani, but I could see through her too. For the third book in a row, Edward was the one who really shined as a friend for Delia. What a strong male character. He risked all to help his cousin. I was very moved by the epilogue. When I read the last page, I got the chills, and I closed this book with a great satisfaction. Then I read the preview of THE HEAVENSTONE SECRETS and got another chill. Mr. Neiderman continues to channel Virginia Andrews! I swear it's true. While reading the preview, I was reminded of Cathy from FLOWERS IN THE ATTIC and Heaven from her self-titled book HEAVEN. Needless to say, I will be anxiously awaiting this new book. Thank you, Mr. Neiderman, for more enjoyable reading!
