Book Overview

In the spring of 334 BC the twenty-two-year-old King Alexander led an army of 50,000 men on the most ambitious conquest of ancient times. It was to take them from Greece, across Asia Minor, to India. Beautiful book - highly recommend

In addition to the excellent account of Alexander, the back of the book has detailed information on his battle...

If you are looking for a nicely illustrated short biography of Alexander the Great, you can't do better. Well worth the money for the illustrations.
