Beautiful Book for Young Children

I disagree with the first reviewer of this book. It is true that the paintings are not identified by telling the names of the plants and animals but that is not the point of this book. The point of this book is to capture some of the beauty and excitement of the rainforest for children, especially young children. I think this book succeeds magnificently with this goal. The text is simple and very brief. The pictures are striking and beautiful.
