Another fabulous story from the infamous Lucy Monroe

Lucy Monroe - Deal With This (Reviewed by Mark, Book Cove Reviews): Alan Hyatt is an agent working for the Goddard Project and he's working undercover as a reporter in the Vancouver film industry. Jillian Carlyle is a beautiful redheaded actress who is also his landlady. He truly convince her that he is a reporter looking for a story and she's glad she can help out in any way she can. But she didn't intend to be attracted to home, she's bound and determined to live by the rule she set in that renters aren't allowed to date other renters. Although she is falling fast for this muscle toned man with gorgeous abs, that she's going to have to choose if she wants to keep that rule. All the while, Alan is also falling hard for Jillian; he must keep his head on the assignment he's been given in investigating high-tech espionage at the studio and trying not to blow his cover. What do you think will happen next? I guess that is what you're going to have to find out. "Lucy Monroe, what can I really say about her besides she knows what she doing and she knows how to keep you absolutely engrossed in the story. Never read Lucy? Well you're in for a treat."

LUCY REALLY DOES IT AGAIN !!!

Another wonderful Lucy Monroe story! This book is yet another of Miss Monroe's masterful stories about our espionage community and is full of wonderful characters that you will feel you really know at the end of the book. She balances the depth and complexity of her novel masterfully and you will hate it when you reach the end of the book.

Deal With This

Undercover operative Alan Hyatt has a job to do. Evidently someone is making technological prototypes of scientific information that the government wants to keep secret. This information is so hush-hush that men have starting dying and it is up to Alan to find the culprit. This assignment leads him to Vancouver and the series production set of actress Jillian Carlyle. Until Alan finds the bad guy, everyone is suspect - even beautiful, quirky red-headed actresses who arouse him like no other. When Jillian is asked to house a reporter doing a story on the film industry, she doesn't think a thing about it before agreeing. It is only when she meets the reporter that she begins to think the rules she lives by might need to be changed. Especially her rule of never sleeping with a lover; although, she and Alan aren't resting all that much. I know when I pick up a Lucy Monroe novel I am going to be treated to a great story that will keep me entertained but will also sooth my romance-loving soul. Deal With This is such a book. The action and suspense started with the first page and ended just as strong. Truly a fun and entertaining book, Deal With This was also big on the romance. Alan and Jillian were both leery of relationships, each for their own reasons. I love how their minds changed as the book progressed until they were unable to deny their feelings for each other. Once those feelings came to the surface, the love was hot enough to scorch even the coldest sheets. I can't wait to see what Ms. Monroe has in store for readers next. I am well and truly hooked on The Goddard Project series and will be on pins and needles waiting for the next installment. A note to readers - Deal With This is the second book of this series and I recommend reading book 1, Satisfaction Guaranteed, prior to Deal With This. The character of Jillian is introduced in book 1 and readers will enjoy meeting Jillian's friends first before revisiting them again in Deal With This. Talia reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

Smoking hot

Lucy Monroe's Deal With This is hot and spicy from the get go. Its layered with deep emotions and unforgettable characters. Goddard Agent Alan Hyatt is sent to find out who is responsible for some high tech espionage. His cover is as a freelance reporter. Alan rents a room with other members of the film crew. Alan is intrigued by the various other tenants especially the lovely landlady Jillian Sinclair. Alan finds himself falling for Jillian, she is not at all like he thought she would be. He has never let himself get this close to a possible suspect before. Jillian Sinclair had made a carrier out of being an actress. She has gathered around her the family she always wished she had had growing up. Her tenants are very special to her as is her best friend Amanda and her husband Simon. Jillian also doesn't let many men as lovers into her world. But she is about to change that rule when she is intensely attracted to her new border Alan Johnson. Alan works his way into Jillian's daily life at work and at home. Soon he had Jillian breaking all her rules about getting involved with her tenants. Jillian likes to be in control of all facets of her world. But will she be able to let go with Alan? Jillian and Alan start a sensual affair that pulls out all the stops. Their love play is one long encounter after another. As they grow closer will Alan be able to keep his mind on work when he can't get Jillian out of his mind? Deal With This is Lucy Monroe's hottest book to date. Each time Jillian and Alan are together is hotter then the last time. This book is one long romantic encounter between these two. They connect on so many levels it will take your breathe away. Deal With This brings back favorites of Amanda and Simon Brant, it was delightful to revisit with them and to see they are still living their happy every after. I am looking forward to the next Goddard Agent's book.
