Where do I start? It took me a while to get used to the writing style because at first I thought it was a little simplistic, but then it grew on me and it was very definitely direct and to the point. Not a lot of meaningless drivel, which I like. I do find it hard to believe that an attorney, and the author is one, would make so many ignorant mistakes, or take so many not well thought out actions. I was only a paralegal and even I wouldn't have made as many mistakes as the attorney in the story did. Anyway, that being said, I cannot fault the action and the pace of this novel as it moved along at a fast pace and kept me guessing. Just when I thought I had it figured out, the ending was not what I expected. All I can say is poor dear Dusty. Anyone reading this review may want to check out some of William Manchee's novels, you may like them. This was a complimentary read from the author through Voracious Readers and I appreciate the read. I will probably look into reading some others by this author. Thanks.
