Book Overview

Four New York Times bestselling authors breach the boundaries of time and reality in these paranormal tales of suspense, intrigue, and out-of-this world passion... Futuristic lieutenant Eve Dallas ends up in a supernatural showdown with a seductive vampire criminal in J. D. Robb's "Eternity in Death." In Mary Blayney's "Amy and the Earl's Amazing Adventure," an ancient coin whisks an American woman and a modern-day earl into the past--and into each other's arms. When a city girl visits a Scottish castle in Ruth Ryan Langan's "Timeless," she is thrust into a romance with a mighty Highland laird. And Mary Kay McComas gives an unhappy wife a magic-carpet ride into an alternate reality to show her the grass isn't always greener in "On the Fringe." Great buy!

Great book, I have all the others and when I realized I missed this short story I just had to have it. I read it in one sitting and was sorry for it to end! I recommend this book if you are a JD Robb fan. Don't miss it.

Another winner!

If you read the JD Robb series you won't be disappointed. The stories are always wonderful. If you've never read JD Robb buy a book and start. You don't know what you're missing.

"Dead of Night"

All four of the short stories were great. The last one was probably the one that may have gone a bit slowly and lacked a bit of substance but I enjoyed them all. I believe this is an annual offering for Ms Roberts(writing as J.D. Robb, of course)and her "selected friends", and I find it enjoyable and have for the last several years.
