Going,Going,Gone!

Sarai and Tremel seemed to be just getting on the right track in going broke. When Damian shoots Sarai and leaves her in a ten month coma leaving her with no memory of the last ten months of her life, beginning Dead Broke. Tremel is torn losing his up and coming music career and losing the woman he loved. Tremel tries to make new memories with Sarai and make her remember their love for each other. This book also brings back some old enemies and a few new ones that come at both Sarai and Tremel and make their reuniting nearly impossible. I love the story and all the Miami references since that is my hometown. Great book!

Dead On!

Dead Broke is dead on! Trista captivates and maintains the reader's interest and imagination from the first sentence. Trista's ability to deliver a sequel that readers do not necessarily have to read Going Broke initially to follow, speaks volumes about Trista's talent. Trista's ability to create realistic characters with realistic problems that her readers can relate to, along with the "messages" that she conveys in her novels, makes Trista one of the best writers in the industry. I can confidently say this because I am an advid reader. I'll be the first to admit that I don't normally read "chic books", but Sarai, Tremel, and the other colorful characters that Trista has created can easily be a sister, brother, best friend, or neighbor; all people that readers can and do relate to on a daily basis. In this advid reader's opinion, Trista Russell has delivered another best seller again!

Ms.Russell does it again!!

Sarai is back from her near death experience, after being shot by her ex boyfriend Damian. When she comes out of her ten month coma she can only remember what happened from that point. Tremel who was wrongly accused of shooting Sarai has now lost everything even the woman since she doesn't remember them having a relationship. They must build a new relationship and try to forget the horrible past yet remember the good thoughts. The book brings in people from Sarai's past who want revenge and even though they remember her she can't remember them making their plans even better. Not her best book but I gave it four stars and an extra star for all the Miami references since that's my hometown too! Can't wait for her next book!

Trista Russell has raised the bar a little bit higher with this one!

Now, this is what I call a Sequel! I was not disappointed at all. It was certainly worth the wait. Sarai was off the meter. She is such a trip! (lol) That Ho had so much drama going on in this book, I'm surprised my boy Tremel didn't tell her where to go and how to get there. Well, maybe he did!!!!! You have to read this sequel to Going Broke. Trista is so very creative. I couldn't have dreamed up some of the stories she came up with to make this book just as good as her other 3 books. She is definitely on a roll. We want more! We want more! Love Ya Girl. Keep on keeping on! You are the Best!

Who Knew?!

Amnesia?! As if I hadn't been up and down the roller-coaster of a love life between Tremel and Sarai enough. LOL I absolutely LOVED the twist this story took on. Not only did I fall even deeper in love with Tremel's character, but he became "human" this time around by making his own set of mistakes. (cause truthfully, I had put him on a pedestal...he could do NO wrong!!) And poor Sarai...with her memory slowly returning, mixed in with her current foolishness it was bound to be PLENTY of the drama that I yearn for in Trista's books. I was ecstatic to see that Tremel & Sarai's love prevailed in the end. HATS OFF!! Blessings & Respect...
