I am not a Rainbow Fish fan. The moral of that story doesn't come across well, believe me I've seen the way kids react to it. Dazzle, by the same author, is what the 'Rainbow Fish' could have been; A story about useing your unique talents for good. Dazzle doesn't cut off his spike to make other dinos happy; instead he uses it to reflect light to scare away a 'Dragonsaurous' and save his friend. At the beginning of the book there is info about all the different dinos, including the pretend ones. It's a shiny book like 'Rainbow Fish' with a much more direct moral. Especially cool for kids who love dinos.

I gave this beautiful little book to a 2-year old girl for her birthday, and she still makes her parents read it to her every day! Sweet story and really gorgeous artwork for kids. Highly recommend this!

This was a great book to read and I just loved Dazzle! I am glad it had a happy ending and Dazzle didn't get eaten by the Dragonsaurus. I really enjoyed the teacher reading this story to our class.

By popular author Marcus Pfister (Rainbow Fish fame). My daughter loves this story and asks to hear it every day. Liked the "scary parts" about a pair of young dinosaurs overcoming threats and finding their way back home. Charming illustrations. Great gift for kindergarten or preschool classroom.
