Dear Mr Earl Steinbicker, I wonder if you are the one that receives these reviews on your book. Guess you are too busy. I would love to have YOUR email address for better contact. Last weekend (Oct 10,11,12), my husband conclued your book: Daytrips in Germany - 50 one day adventure by rail or car.If I am not mistaken it is the Second Edition January 1987. He was really excited about finishing his book. By coincidence, our last city was the same last city on your book, Goslar. And my husband decided to celebrate this day and our last tour on your book by taking the same last picture you have printed on your book ( page 282 ). I did not have the chance to visit all the 50 cities on your book. I visited about 25 of them, and I liked every single one. It for sure was the best way for me to learn more about Germany's history, by seeing the old side of their country, all the beautiful castles and palaces, museums, cathedrals, wonderful boat cruises, the roman relics and the lakes. Every place that we went was a touch of magic for us. Lots of romantic and peaceful towns. I was enchanted by every place my husband took me. One thing that you really need to get ready is for the money . Trains are really expensive here in Germany. In my opinion your book was very helpful. But sometimes I noticed that my husband got upset for not agreeing to what your book said. And some other ocasions that probably during your time was different from today, like bus and boat hours. Mr Steinbicker I wonder if you could send a " Congratulations" email to my husband ( [email protected] ) for finishing your book and seeing all the sights that you give and taking all cruises and sitting in every Cathedral, taking the English tours in the Castles.... You really gave us a good time here while my husband is working for the US Military. I know that someday in the future he will send you his own review on your book. We also have seen some cities of your Daytrips in Italy. Thank you very much for your attention and forgive my English. Sincerely, Manuela Feitosa.
