This should be a movie

When I read the book I was more then shocked at the treatment of the POW's and the painful years they endured in captivity by the Japanese. The story comes alive and gives the reader the feeling he's actually there in the heat box and on the hell ships with these brave men. This is one book I will pass on to the younger generation hopefully making them aware of the price of freedom. This book should be made into a movie because it's not only a story of anguish and suffering but of hope and the power of God present in the lives of these men who served our country for the cause of freedom.

WOW! A must read!

This is what I wrote to the author: Mr. Bill Keith, I am a lieutenant in the Army Reserves in route to become a Chaplain. I read your book "Days of Anguish Days of Hope" and I cannot describe to you the emotional/spiritual impact that this book had on me. Your four years of labor have not been in vain. I will make sure that this book will be known among my fellow chaplains. My kids and my wife will read it. I thank you so much for this book. May God bless your past and future publications. Days of Anguish Days of Hope; Amazing journey

A truly amazing story of a true man of God captured by the Japanese during the fall of Bataan. The world has few examples in history to point to where pure evil dished out such brutal and inhumane torture on anyone, let alone sick, unarmed prisoners of war. It makes one wonder why this chapter of history has received such little attention, and even less as the years go by. A story for anyone, and especially for those looking for what a true Christian should conduct himself as.

Bataan Death March - detailed account

One of the most acclaimed (and most sought after) books ever written on the Bataan Death March. The book details the true story of General Robert Preston Taylor during World War Two. A enlightening read and one that really should be part of any comprehensive personal WWII reference library.
