Dawn's brother is visiting Stoneybrook. And Dawn's family wants to have a family portrait. Dawn and Mary Anne and Jeff think it's boring!

I am glad that Ann got the issue of family rivalry out in the open. I was a middle child among two other strong-willed children and the fights between Dawn, Jeff and Mary Anne sounded sooo familiar! I fought like heck with my brother and sister. My parents were driven half mad! I chuckled in spite of myself; kids fight over the silliest things and Ann has a gift of mixing a little black humor in with the strife. Good going, Ann! However I think that Dawn and Jeff are spoiled brats who didn't get enough, if any, spankings in their life. I would have taken them both to the "woodshed". They were very rude to their stepfather who was trying very hard to get to know them!
