It's a Baby-sitters Club shocker--Dawn's moving back to California for six months to live with her dad. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I'm 14 and my name is Isobella and I found this book VERY good just like all the others. Just because you have a "grudge" against Dawn and you hate her? Get Over It!! She's a book character, and I can understand her desicion moving from he West Coast to the East Coast. She missed her real home. And I think if Mary-Anne really was a good friend, she would support that. >:O

I was neither sad nor surprised to see airheaded Dawn head West. The girl was plainly out of her element on the East Coast. It was just a question of time as to how soon she'd hit the bricks and this book is a tantalizing teaser of her impending departure. Hang on to your sombrero, folks! In another installment, she really will leave the East Coast for good and Stoneybrook will be better off for it.
Bye Dawn!

Dawn starts to miss her father, brother and friends in California so she decides to move back for six months. But she starts to worry that no one would miss her. This book is really funny. Especially the non-Dawn parts. I was laughing so hard that I was crying!
