Dashing Through the Snow

I've been reading the Regan Reilly books out of order. Usually I pick whatever seems more interesting at the time. One thing I like about the series is that you won't miss much if you pick a book out of order. The characters are described well. The setting enhances the story. I will say this is my favorite book of the series. It was a quick and easy read and I felt the stakes were at their highest for the characters around our protagonist. This book stands out on its own, but makes a great addition to the series. Recommend.

This is a good story & a quick read. The characters are believable & so is the plot.

Yet another wonderful Christmas story from my two favorite authors! I could not put this book down until I found out who the villians were in the village! What a surprise! I would always recommend any books by Mary and Carol Higgins Clark. The vivid writing puts you in the village with the characters celebrating Christmas. A must read for all fans of the Clarks'.

Both sleuths Alvirah Meehan and Regan Reilly have come to Branscombe for a Christmas Festival. What they also find is a group of people who always play the lottery and have finally won a multi-million pot. One of their group is missing, but as the winning numbers were the ones the missing man always picked they decide to share with him, anyway. His girl friend has made a trip to town to surprise him and expects him to propose. When he can't be found, she thinks that since he's now rich, he doesn't want her anymore. She's wrong of course, as he's already picked out a ring. A second ticket is reported a winner, too, but no one has come forth to claim the money! I can't say a whole lot more without revealing the bad guys, but this is a completely entertaining story with a lot going on. The authors have given us a good book to spend the evening with. It's a fast read.

Fabulous story The Clarks do their usual wonderful job of keeping you on the edge of your seat the entire time..nice connection to the season,too..A MUST READ !!!!

I wanted a light, fun read to get me in the mood for the holidays..seems like they are coming so fast...and I was not disappointed by Mary H Clark and Carol H Clark's new book. It has all my favorite characters...the darling and dashing team of Regan and Jack O'Reilly, sophisticated mom Nora and her stoic husband, Luke Reilly, and those lucky lottery winners, Alvirah and Willy Meehan, who haven't let winning all that money stop them from being such great people. The book is 226 pages, and I didn't want it to end! It has the usual good guys and bad guys and I love the quirks and devious plot revolving around people that have money, and those that want to take it from them! If you are concerned that this book is a re-print, it is brand new and has not previously been published. If you have enjoyed any of their previous books, you won't be disappointed. If you haven't read any of them, you can still read this book without knowing all the back stories and be entertained. Then you'll want to get all the rest!
