Was the removal of Laurent Gbagbo and the ascension to power of Alassane Ouattara an effort to maintain the anachronistic autocratic French-imposed system in Ivory Coast and the rest of Francophone Africa; and was it a French commitment to maintain the rule of puppet heads of state who lack the support of their citizens, by encouraging the use of electoral farces organized by the puppets and supported by puppeteers in a mafia-style relationship that drags these African countries into the abyss?
