This is the first in the ruthless boys of the zodiac series part of the world of solaria. Elise Callisto, a vampire and angel of vengeance, is on a mission to find and destroy the one who murdered her brother. Her investigation reveals that the King of Aurora Academy is the culprit, but there are four kings, each with a motive. Aurora Academy is a dangerous place, dominated by two rival gangs. Elise is determined to take down the killer, prepared to sacrifice everything for revenge. Rating: 4.4/5 Review: 1. **Plot and Storytelling:** 3.5/5 The plot had its challenges, with a slow pace and a murder mystery that often left me frustrated due to a lack of answers. However, the interactions between characters and their personal development kept it interesting and made the book feel fully fleshed out. 2. **Characterization:** 5/5 I love these characters. They truly display the ruthlessness, cunning, and humor typical of the Fae. You can see the FMC and some of the MMCs change and grow over time. I'll be curious to see how they develop as the series progresses. 3. **Writing Style:** 5/5 I adore the writing style of the Twisted Sisters. The multiple points of view keep everything interesting and flowing well. To be honest, if you didn't know it was written by two authors, you wouldn't be able to tell. 4. **Originality:** 5/5 This story felt highly original to me. While it shared some similarities with the Zodiac Academy books, such as the academy setting and similar classes and sports, the storyline was completely different and the characters were unique. 5. **Emotional Impact and Resolution:** 5/5 The characters took me on an emotional roller coaster—I was giggling, kicking my feet, frustrated, scared, and annoyed at different points. The resolution left me with more questions, a bit of satisfaction, and a very strong desire to continue the series. 6. **Spice:** 4/5 The spice was well described and you could feel the tension building. However, the frequent lack of satisfaction and one very odd incident made me deduct a point.
