I can describe this book very quickly: the first few books of the series had very "PG" sex scenes, very graphic violence. With a couple of exceptions, each book in the series has seen the sex get more graphic, while the violence stays pretty static or maybe recedes a trifle. Sure, the stories are a lot different than they were in the beginning of the series and it did take me awhile to adjust, but I thought this was a great book.
