Dangerous Girls 1 (Beautiful But Deadly...)

Dangerous Girls is themed with romance, vampires, and suspense, making it my favorite R.L. Stine book thus far. It's a real page-turner. Here is a quick synopsis of the book. Destiny and Livvy Weller spend their summer at Camp Blue Moon, although things are not what they seem. Destiny makes a mistake her last night at camp when she takes a stroll to the lake with Renz. A lovestruck vampire mistakes Destiny for his old girlfriend named Laura. When Destiny returns home in Dark Springs, Massachusetts, she realizes that vampires and neophytes (half-vampire, half-human) are a pain in the neck. Dark Springs takes a turn for the worst when blood-drained corpses – both animal and human – appear around town. Neophytes Destiny and Livvy are struggling to control their thirst for blood while attempting to evade Dark Springs' team of vampire hunters. Destiny's friend Ari – an expert on vampire knowledge and has a crush on Destiny – teaches her everything he knows about vampires. Destiny depends on the person called the Restorer, who can change a neophyte back into a human. But will Destiny be able to find the Restorer before she is transformed into a fully-fledged bloodsucker? And who is that young man hiding in the shadows, watching Destiny? I can sympathize with Destiny, Livvy, Renz, Ari, and the other characters' situations. I feel that the major and minor characters have dimensions the readers can get hooked into. I highly recommend this book to young adults interested in vampires, romance, and suspense. The price is affordable for such a fantastic book. I can't wait to read the sequel.

I need the nector...............of this book!

This book is one of the best I have every read in my whole life! I had always been a R.L. Stine fan for as long as I can remeber. (The first book I read of R.L.Stines was one of his fear street books: Night games) anyway, I never knew about this book untill my friend was reading it and I asked her about it. After she let me borow the book I finished it in 1 day without putting it down. The suspence was killing me in the whole book and I just kept on reading. It may look like a VERY LONG book at first glance, but when u start reading it it feels like the book is not that long. Thats how I felt anyway. I give this book a 5 out of 5 because it is one of the best books I have every read. Oh and also read the 2nd dangerous girls (taste of the night) which is out now, that one is great 2. I hope there is a 3rd one out soon. ^_^ I sujest this book at any R.L. Stine fans ^_^ like me! ^__________^ Bye!!!!

Amazing New Vampire Series

Seventeen-year-old Destiny Weller, and her identical twin sister, Livvy, decide to spend their summer working as camp counselors at Camp Blue Moon, after the apparent suicide of their beloved Mother shatters them. The camp environment helps to heal some of their wounds, while at the same time take their minds off of the tragedy that they experienced back home. At Camp Blue Moon, the lively twins meet many wonderful new friends who they just know they want to stay in touch with. But out of all of them, one guy stands out in Destiny's mind. Renz, an extremely good-looking counselor who has left Destiny feeling shook-up after a strange encounter with him in the woods. Returning home to Dark Springs, Massachusetts, Destiny and Livvy are plagued with a sudden hunger. One that disgusts them, yet intrigues them at the same time. Destiny, seeking the help of her close friend, and resident horror fan, Ari Stark, soon discovers that both she and Livvy are neophytes. Meaning that the both of them have been bitten by a vampire, but have not yet drunk the blood of a vampire, under a full moon, in return. Now it's up to Destiny to find the Restorer, someone who can save her and Livvy from becoming full-fledged vampires, before one of them kills someone, or is attacked by the town's vampire hunters. Being a fan of R.L. Stine, I was ecstatic to hear about his newest teen series DANGEROUS GIRLS. However, after reading the first chapter, I was even happier to realize that DANGEROUS GIRLS is one of the best novels that Stine has ever written. Destiny is such an interesting character, filled with curiosity, inquisitiveness, intelligence, and more. While Livvy is more of a wild child who just wants to go out and have fun. The storyline is engrossing, and the horror scenes are vivid. Enough so to make you cringe at times. Filled with wonderful, witty commentary by the two main characters, as well as many of their closest friends; and an intriguing plot that would please even the most reluctant reader, DANGEROUS GIRLS is something that can't be missed. Couldn't Stop.

I loved this book. I couldn't stop once I got started. I read a lot and this was one of the better fantisy books I've read in a while. It's especally good if you aren't in the mood to be thrilled to death. I was weary of reading an R. L. Stine book due to I remember Fear Street vividly. I loved Dangerous Girls.

DANGEROUS GIRLS is undoubtedly one of Stine's best books.

Destiny and Livvy Weller are identical twin sisters who decide to work as counselors at Camp Blue Moon during the summer, following their mother's suicide. Celebrations are well under way on the last day of camp when Destiny has a strange encounter in the woods with a good-looking counselor named Renz, who leaves her feeling very weird. Destiny and Livvy nevertheless return home to Dark Springs, Massachusetts. Later that night, their friends come over to hang out. What starts out as an evening of creepy fun for the gang turns into a nightmare for Destiny. Her friend Ari Stark tells the group about a news story he heard concerning animals that are dying from a mysterious virus that drains their blood. Ari thinks that a vampire is responsible for this, but his friends are skeptical and laugh at him. When Ari plays his latest vampire DVD, Destiny suddenly begins to scream as she watches a movie scene unfold. Everyone is creeped out by Destiny's reaction and leave. Destiny herself is shaken by the ordeal and goes to bed. She later wakes up in a cold sweat and is thirsty. She also has a craving for...bunnies. Destiny soon finds herself drinking the blood of a bunny with Livvy! The twin sisters realize something is very wrong. Destiny soon finds out, through Ari's knowledge of vampire folklore, that she and Livvy are neophytes. A neophyte is a person who has been bitten by a vampire but has not yet drunk the blood of a vampire in return under a full moon. Ari also tells Destiny that there are vampire hunters, and their longtime family friend Coach Bauer is rumored to be one and may be hiding a dark secret. The girls are soon in a horrifying world where not everyone can be trusted, tragedy strikes and secrets are revealed. Who is the vampire that bit them? Who is the Restorer? Will the girls find a cure before it's too late? I haven't read R.L. Stine's books for a few years, so when I found out about this one I knew I had to read it. Although a bit slow at times, DANGEROUS GIRLS is undoubtedly one of Stine's best books. So grab a copy, curl up in a chair, and read it. Just beware of full moons! --- Reviewed by Sarah Sawtelle ([email protected])
