Love, love love this book.....

This is a great book for all, the rhythm and lyric is just too much fun and the little story (if you want to call it that) just sticks with you. It is such a easy read that the 4 yr old granddaughter reads and re-reads this to anyone who will listen, she has a hard time sitting still when she reads it though, she wants to get up and dance with it, it makes everyone want to get up and dance.
Quickly became a favorite!

We read (aka sing!) this book several times a day. I'm so glad we discovered that it could be sung to "If You're Happy and You Know It." We've had it less than a month and I'll catch my 21 month old singing it while playing. She also likes to make up her own verses.

I found this book at our local library and my 2yr old son loves it. The words rhyme and the musical rhythm keeps me humming the lines for hours.

Wow, I have to disagree with the School Library Journal review above. I'm a children's librarian and we just love this book for storytime. It absolutely begs to be sung to the tune of "If You're Happy and You Know It." It gets kids moving, one body part at a time, so it's great for kids who are getting restless. They love the song, and the pictures too.
