THIS IS IT

Though I've gained valuable knowledge from channeled sources such as Orin, P'taah and the Pleiadians (via Barbara Marciniak), Prasad has managed to take it to another level. I'm currently on my third reading. It's so deep, I can usually only digest a couple of pages each night. Basically put, of the 1000s of books available, this would be the one I'd take with me the rest of this life.

Dancing as the Infinite

Prasad's simple and profound words, spoken in his satsangs, have melted the ice around many a frozen heart. Now the wisdom that flows through Prasad is available in printed form.Prasad's message? Life is a voyage of discovery, not a fortress to be defended. The Holy Ground is wherever your feet happen to find themselves. It's now or never and it always has been. It always will be. Above all, trust. Trust, not in what we know, but trust in what we don't know and cannot know. Many spiritual teachers speak about realization in terms of the death of the ego, but what Prasad talks about is not so much the death of the ego, but rather the ending of a misidentification which is at once tragic and ridiculous. In many lives, the ego, like a self-seeking and overly ambitious employee, has assumed a top management position and is trying, in its frantic and fragmented way, to run the whole show. The appropriate position for the ego, Prasad reminds us, is not in the driver's seat but in the rumble seat!In Dancing as the Infinite the medium is the message. The "freeze-frame" format of this book is unique. Each page is complete in itself, just as each moment of our lives is complete, yet paradoxically ever expanding, magically resonating with infinite possibilities. Somewhere Prasad speaks of life as a dot puzzle. The trick is not to connect the dots. This moment. This moment. This moment. You can open this book anywhere and find a treasure.Prasad's language is a fertile and superbly communicative mix of the vernacular and the poetic. Poetic because the language of the spirit is poetry and metaphor, and this because the deepest truths lie well beyond the reach of the mind. And the vernacular, the everyday speech of ordinary people, because it is absolutely imperative, in this era of profound spiritual darkness, to bring this timeless message to the streets. We spoke a moment ago about ending the misidentification with the ego. This raises an interesting question. Once the ego, this pretender to the throne, has been exposed for what it is--a bundle of thoughts--and summarily demoted, stripped of its rank, what then is one to do with this ego, with this wooden puppet? The answer: why, pull the strings, of course! This is what Prasad calls Living in Freedom. "You think you're a mind with moments of freedom, when actually you're freedom with moments of mind! This is true. You are Consciousness itself..." But read it for yourself, in this luminous and illuminating book. Read it. This book is a keeper. Dancing as the Infinite is a book to take with you, on your journey from here to here.Donald O'Donovan
