Dan-Tien: Your Secret Energy Center

Two years ago I had the opportunity to spend some time at Canyon Ranch and had the most magnificent experience while there. One of their healing touch practitioners worked on my body. She was in full meditation and with her hands pressed around the edges of my body. In five minutes time, I began to experience (with my eyes closed and fully dressed) shoes off.) . . . shades of purple running across inside my eyes. Then, in my abdomen ripples of energy that were physical , , ,energy that she had engendered by her healing practice. It was a strange experience and it must have been the chi that she invoked in my body. Just that experience made me realize that, indeed, there is such a thing as chi. I suggest the reading of "The Intention Experiment" by Lynne Mc Taggart for a comprehensive understanding of this phenomena called dan tien. There is so much that we still do not understand about the energy selves that we are. It is a fascinating experience to learn more and more about the wondrous selves that we are !!!!!!! A wonderful, easy-to-understand guide to the concept of the Dan-Tien. The advice and exercises are easy to put into practice, and can have a profoundly beneficial effect. Highly recommended.
