Quick, easy, effective activities support standards and help students improve skills they need for success in testing. This description may be from another edition of this product.
This book is a really good resource for the classroom teacher. I purchased it because it covers every math standard that I need to teach my third graders. It's not a math program, but can be used as a supplement and for reviewing before an exam, or before those high-stake tests. The kids like it because the daily problems are short and not intimidating. I use the problems as part of their morning work because they are quick to solve, but cover what they need to know. My regret is that I did not have this book at the beginning of the school year - but there's always next year.
This workbook has been a good supplement for our kids

I am the mom of 4 (closely spaced) children who attend public elementary school. I do not have a background in education and was struggling to find a supplemental, self-paced workbook series that could give the children extra math practice. After several false starts and failed purchases, this workbook series is our favorite. My children range from typical to gifted. I like it that they can work through the exercises on their own while I am helping with a sibling's homework. Note that this is a series of quick drills rather than a deep dive (2 exercises per page), but it is an engaging supplement with clear graphics.
