I just finished this book a few days ago. I was sad to reach the end but I'm going to keep it because I know I'll want to read it again a few times a year. Don't skip the recommended Bible reading at the beginning of every devotion. Pastor Osteen's enthusiasm and faith are contagious. If you read this book with a pure and open heart, it will completely change your outlook. I can't imagine a better way to start the day. The author has such a pure heart and deep faith that many scoff and ridicule him, but I don't care. The ways of the Lord are foolishness to those who are perishing!
Loved it

Absolutely awesome book, I have the book "Your Best Life Now", and to be honest the devotional is much better, it has the same info as the other one, but the devotional with bible verses and prayers are an easy daily read. Joel is an outstanding preacher/author; I look forward to more books.
Set Yourself Up for a Successful Day

One daily dose of devotion from this inspiring book will set you up for a day of optimism and peace. Each reading gives you a portion of scripture to study, a quote from scripture, a moving story, and finally a prayer. Together, these elements help the reader to focus on "God's favor" in their lives, and in having an "attitude of gratitude" --even when times are tough. If you're looking for an easy spiritual practice you can use daily, here's your book.
Excellent Reading!

"90 Devotions for Living at Your Full Potential" is packed with daily devotional scriptures that will lead you to a better life now (or soon). Very similar to his previous book, "7 Steps Program," it gears you to acheive more, look further, climb higher, think wider, be happier and much more. But with this, you get a scripture in the beginning and a "small" prayer at the end. It's like having a pastor speak to you everyday, except packed in a book. What I like most about Joel Osteen's books/sermons is the fact that he can make "hard to describe" Bible scriptures into simple everyday language. If you seen him talk on t.v., you know what I mean. Osteen can make you feel like life is easy to live, which indeed it does. We just have to change the way we look, feel and act on life. That's what this book is about (but with genuine Bible verses) If you have to get one of the the two, I say get this one, no doubt about it. I gain so much more knowledge on the Bible scriptures as well as insights to what they mean. This book is nothing new from his previous book. Osteen simply backed up with some Bible verses from both Old and New Testament. The earlier you read this, the better. "May this devotional book be instrumental in helping you to live your best life now" pg vii
