Bravo Ms.Williams this book was very creative. I loved the fact that this book had you feeling a special connection with each character. You knew what everyone was thinking and you got to look in on everybody's life. There was not a character that you could really hate because you knew their background and where they were coming from.I loved the fact that this book is still hood with a twist. This is a must read!!!

'This Nicca Got Straight Games ' as he leads his ladies to the 'Crossroad'

Brittani Williams has made a stunning debut with "Daddy's Little Girl". She introduces us to Giselle, who's the descendant of a major baller. She has seen her share of trials and tribulations beginning with witnessing the murder of her mom, losing her brother to the system and now she's looking for love in all the wrong faces despite her father's attempt to steer her away from the path of destruction. Then there's Mimi who was abandoned by her mom and left to be raised by her Grandmother. She has her mind on her books but becomes swayed by the wooing of the smoothest player in the book by the name of James. But James has a higher agenda then just loving Mimi. He dreams of being King of the Streets and schemes to gain the title by destroying Big T and gaining the reign by way of using Giselle as a way in to his entity. The mastery of which Brittani brings us to the 'crossroads' is awesome and I give her major props for the creativeness and the manner in which it all fits...tailor-made to be exact!!!! LOL Brittani magically captures her readers attention with the smoothest flow of a gifted storyteller. DLG is a sensational stunner filled to the brim with conniving, manipulative playas, lying, scheming, betrayals, and murder. Lil Ms. Brittani, you're on your way, keep your eyes on the prize because you are a major playa in this urban genre!!!

Miss Williams Came Out Swingin'!!!

This was an absolutely hot debut novel from Miss Brit. This fast paced tail of betrayal, friendship, and street fame brought you head on with Giselle and why she was called Daddy's Little Girl. This story was told from her perspective as well as Mimi's, who just happened to be living life just the opposite of Giselle's spoiled behind. These two women were living around the same people and didn't even know it. I love how it all came together, and it ended with a BANG! I'm definitely looking forward to Brittani's next work. Daddy's Little Girl will keep you turning the pages desperate for more drama. Do I smell a sequel?????

Crisscrossed

Daddy's Little Girl, by Brittani Williams, introduced Giselle Doran, the daughter of big- time dealer Terrell (Big T) who made sure that she had everything her heart desired. Giselle adored her father and no one compared to him. When her mother was tragically taken away from her, she stepped up her game and took on her mother's role as caregiver to Terrell and her brother, Akil. Terrell introduced Giselle to Shawn, his new business partner, and for her it was love at first sight. She took on a `by any means necessary' approach to snag him but will the fruits of her labor be fulfilling? Mimi Gordon's upbringing was nothing close to Giselle's. She had been abandoned by her mother and raised by Grandmom, her grandmother. She was never interested in thugs until she met Tony, of whom Grandmom disapproved. Tony showed Mimi the life of long money and being `that' girl. When they broke up, had she learned her lesson about loving a `bad' boy? Then James came along and not under the best circumstances. As their relationship blossomed, would James provide her with the love and security that she desperately seeks? Or would he prove to be worse than Tony? Giselle's and Mimi's lives collided, head on, from two totally different directions. The paths were laid for this collision by the men they loved, but how? Brittini Williams will guide you through the tangled web in `Daddy's Little Girl'. This novel is excellently written. At first glance, the years the chapters are dated are not chronological and would appear to confuse the reader. The contrary happened as I read it. I followed along easily and did not have to refer back to see if I missed something. The story played like a movie in my mind which, to me, validated that Ms. William's characters were developed well. There was no struggle in reading this book. The transition between chapters was smooth and the air of mystery she created was awesome. The way the relationships between the characters unraveled was what sealed the deal in my rating for this novel. I recommend that all avid urban fiction readers pick this book up now!
