Cuddle!

When I first picked up this book I was unsure about its value because of its blunt honesty about what would happen if you cuddled a wild animal. However, as a zoologist and animal welfare advocate who gets tired of hearing people at zoos say they want to "pet" the tiger, I ended up finding this book to be brilliant. The writing is kid-friendly and clever, while sharing the truth with children that wild animals are to be respected or you can get hurt. "If I cuddled a tiger, I'd end up as dinner" might not be the fuzzy story some parents are looking for, but at least it provides children with a true lens to view wild animals that they can carry with them the rest of their lives.

I'm not sure what the problem is with the disgruntle reviewer. We love this book; it's was my son's very favorite book for several months!

I've had this book a few months now, and my son simply loves it! We read it almost every day...and he has started to recite it himself! It's a really cute book and quick to read with simple and easy to understand photos!

a delightful book about a little child cuddling various animals. full of love and gentle humor.
