Do not pass these BH & G books up. Particularly if you are looking for a timeless piece to pass on as a memory. You can't beat any of these books. And, they are getting harder and harder to collect. You always need one when you can't find one. There is something for everybody in each book. Even if you only find one thing you want to make in the book today, you're ahead of the game. Check out the curent prices and compare them to regular pattern pieces. Many of these are less than $1.00. Find a pattern, let alone a variety that runs that modestly today. Preserve a tradition. At the very least, you've purchased a wonderful gift for a stitching friend, or to pass on to the next generation of Cross-Stitchers. My copy was pristine when it arrived.
