The Creepy Crawly Calypso is a great book and CD to use with pre-school to 1st or even 2nd grade. The introduction of all the calypso instruments is a wonderful teaching tool. The kids get to listen to the sounds of the different instruments and see the pictures too. They are encouraged to listen for each instrument during the song.

I'm not exactly sure why, but for some reason my two-year-old daughter is totally smitten with this book and calypso tune. I can assure you I have played the CD that accompanies the book SO MANY TIMES in my car that the two of us can sing it backwards. The info about musical instruments at the back is over her head, but would be great for music teachers or older (5+) kids interested in music. bnm
