A fascinating book on creative teaching in medicine.

Dr. Whitman uses anecdotes and personal experience to describe better methods for teaching medicine. He is funny, witty and knowledgable. The book is divided into vignettes instead of "chapters ", so you can skip around for the topics you are especially interested in. Dr. Whitman covers lectures, problem-based learning, case studies, teaching rounds and experiments he has conducted in educational research. This book is hard to put down; which is unusual for a book on education. I found his stories and examples fascinating. For anyone interested in teaching, or involved in medical education, this book is a valuable tool.
