This book is chock full of ideas for mixed media projects. Sherrill has included good instructions with great pictures. It is one of the best books on this topic that I have purchased in quite awhile.

When I buy a book for inspiration and technique, I don't want it to be an art "show" -- I want it to tell me how to do it! This book has great step-by-step instructions and illustrations. I have to say it's one of my very favorite and I've been buying technique books for years. This one sits next to me in my work room and I refer to it often. I recommend it to beginners, advanced, etc.

This book is the epitomy of eye candy, but unlike candy, it packs an artistically nutritional punch. Sherrill Kahn has filled every single page with the most beautiful projects, in full color. The instruction is first-rate and Sherrill's love of creating is just bursting out all over. I just absolutely cannot get enough of this book. Wish I'd written it...well, first I'd have to be that talented and imaginative. Sure hope Sherrill has more books in her.

I have an extensive library of books on fabric and paper arts but this one is by far the best. The chapters are organized by technique and the instructions are easy to understand. There are even some imaginative techniques that I had never heard of before but I am now anxious to try. What I love best, however, are the many beautiful pictures of the finished artwork. They are truly inspiring. I recommend this book to beginners and experts alike. It will definitely get your creative juices flowing.
