This book is terrifically useful for a brand-new doll reborner who genuinely has not the slightest idea of where to start. A great deal of this information is freely available on the internet, but having it in book form for ready reference in easy-to-read format is ideal. The layout is clear, the photos are helpful and appealling, and the examples of dolls made with Tucker's processes are pretty impressive given that she's explaining the easier, less-complicated methods. I was pleased with this purchase and have already recommended it to a few people who'd like to try this art without breaking the bank or frustrating themselves into giving up.

I think this is a good book for beginners who are looking to start reborning on the cheap. Some of the babies that are photographed in the back are lovely - the ones that the author did are rather ordinary. Since buying the book I have found much better information in doll magazines. Now that I have started reborning I would only give the book 3 stars - the patterns for the bodies help bring the book up.

This is a wonderful book with easy to understand step by step instruction. Not only is the processed explained in words and pictures but there is also background on why the procedure is needed. I can't wait to start!
