A door-opener to the world of HTML...

This book is a door-opener for those who want to learn to use HTML. This book teaches you the basics, and gives you room to expand, and learn more by practice and trial-and-error. The best book for learning HTML!

Great for the inexperienced computer user.

The full color photos and easy to follow instuctions make this a great book for the experienced and inexperienced computer user alike. I would recomend this book to any one who wants to learn how to build a web page or wants to learn more about building web pages.

Great as an overview

Some of those commenting here are teenagers; here's a comment from an almost-50 Mom. This book provides a great overview. I've been in computers for 25 years, but never had occasion to create my own web page. This book gives a good overview of the various parts of a web page and how the pieces fit together. Those of you who are mainframers will laugh your heads off when you see that the internet has made Script cool...

No other books are more simplified than this one

How old am I? 12. I'm not like most of you who read several books a week. In fact, this is the first one I ever accomplished. This book is just so simple, I finished it in just few days. It attracted me with its astounishing graphics as well. Buy this book if you're trying to find the quickest way to create your own web page!

For Beginners Only!

If you are ready to make your first web page, check this book out. It takes you line by line, code by code, with pictures for every move you make. Each command is shown in code and then the result is shown in a picture. It can't get any simplier! One reason I don't give it a 10 is because there is very little information given about color codes. The other reason is that the binding is weak for those of us who go back and forth for review, etc. Several of the pages fell out. This is a perfect user-friendly guide for beginners
