Sexy fun!

This is fun and sexy short story collection hat keeps you turning the pages. There wasn't a single story that didn't grab my attention. I didn't want to put the book down! I loved Mary Janice Davidson's 'Dead Girls Don't Dance'. It was witty and sensual with enough action to keep it all interesting, but not enough that you thought it could be scripted into a soft core adult movie.

really enjoyed it

All the stories were great. For those who were disappointed with Hamilton's Anita Blake story - heck - I would read that series for the complicated romance alone! - so the story was good for me - also, nice to know more about Damian and Nathaniel's characters, right? The only slightly off-putting thing was the lack of introspection in Wilk's Originally Human story. So I'm a a succubus. And I can change my physical age. There didn't seem to be enough glimpses into the heroine character.

some of the best writers. worth the buy

i just got this book today and i did not put it down once during the time i had read it. i think that is a great book b/c it had the differences between different writers or different visionares. these are great writers and i cant wait to read move.. b/c it has now put me in suspense for their next releases

Excellent Anthology!

I bought this book because of Laurell K. Hamilton and MaryJanice Davidson, but amazingly enough, I liked all four stories.Laurell K. was interesting as always. There are tantalizing hints of things to come: what _is_ wrong with Tammy's father anyway? And I'm looking forward to seeing less of the ardeur type stuff, and more action adventure. However, I will buy anything that she writes. What can I say about MaryJanice Davidson? I just started reading this author with her "Undead and Unwed" book, and now I've gone back to try to get everything she's written. This story is as hilarious as her others; among other things, the librarian is priceless.I also liked Rebecca York's new entry in her werewolf series. The interweaving of the story with the tarot cards was interesting and unusual, and I hope she writes more in this series. However, the real surprise (and pleasure) was Eileen Wilks' story. I didn't guess who Michael was, and I wanted to know more about her world and these characters. I checked to see what other things she's written, and wasn't surpised to find that she'd written another intriguing story in the anthology "Lover Beware"; I wanted to know more about _that_ world too, (which may be the same world). Here's hoping she writes a full-length paranormal sometime soon.As I said, I really liked this anthology, and I gave it 5 stars, not because _every_ story in here was necessarily a 5 star story, but because I fell that all of them rated 4 or 5 stars, and that is very unusual in an anthology.
