Great like the rest, but different!

As always, Gerri Hill delivers a great romance novel. Albeit, a bit cheesy. This book was fun. It was the fastest one I’ve read. Only took two nights. Characters were good. One thing I don’t ever want to hear again, is the word “darling”. Haha. I have loved every one of her books!

Great Characters in a Great Setting

Gerri Hill does an excellent job of developing characters and relationships. As always the scenery is beautifully described. A great romance!

Romance At It's Finest!

Gerri Hill has done it again! Coyote Sky is a truly romantic and very passionate story. It will draw you in and you will find yourself in Coyote, New Mexico. Not to mention the fact that you will fall in love with all of the characters. I loved this book and read it in one sitting. I couldn't put it down! Kate Winters is a writer with writer's block. She is a romantic at heart but, will she listen to her heart and risk it being broken? Sheriff Lee Foxx is a player who can have and does have any woman, straight or gay, that she wants. Has she met her match in Kate or is her past too much fun to give up? Then there is Brenda...Kate's best friend. Brenda and her group of eccentric friends/artists can see what the other two are trying to fight. Not to mention Robin, Kate's girlfriend that she in Dallas. Got to love the surprises that come along with her. Can love conquer all? This book is like all of Gerri's...in a very good way of course! It has a great story, wonderful characters, full of humor, true friendship, love, lust, and we can't forget great sex! This book will stay in my collection to read again! As always I look forward to her next book!

Beautiful Romance in a Beautiful Location

So many modern lesbian romances follow the basic formula of two women meet, one or both are anti-relationship because of a bad experience, fate intervenes and they fall deeply in love, living happily ever after. Such is the case with `Coyote Sky,' but the incredible Gerri Hill pulls this one off with such grace and class it's impossible NOT to fall in love and enjoy the ride. Popular mystery author, Kate Winters, has writer's block. She's invited to spend the summer with her friend Brenda in beautiful Coyote, New Mexico. Brenda's friends in this town are eccentric artists and the local sheriff, Lee Foxx. Kate is currently living with, but not in love with, Robin - and feels loyal to her even though their relationship is going south. Lee sleeps with the young, blonde, early twenty-something tourists who visit the town each summer and has no intention of settling down. To make matters worse, neither woman can deny her attraction to the other and they struggle to contain their passion. So it's pure formula. Who cares? The characters are incredibly lovable and passionate. The setting is unbelievably beautiful and idealistic. The writing is top notch and exemplifies Hill's talent. She is truly one of the best lesbian fiction authors publishing today. Very highly recommended, `Coyote Sky' is a definite must read.

No One Does It Better

Gerri Hill is by far my favorite romance writer, but even if she wasn't, I would have enjoyed "Coyote Sky"! In her newest book, Gerri continues to do what she does best--create characters you feel like you know and would like to have living next door. Not to mention a setting that makes you want to rush off to New Mexico and dance to the song of the coyote. You may tell yourself such an experience couldn't be possible, but Gerri certainly makes you believe. Without giving too much of the story away, Kate Winters travels to Coyote at the invitation of her long time friend Brenda leaving behind a girlfriend and a life that is stifling her creative muse and ruining her health. She is only in Coyote a few hours when it begins to wrap its calming essence around her soul. She's sleeping better. She's smoking less and she is "itching" to grab her laptop and let the words flow. But fate has more planned than just restoring her mental/emotional well-being. Because it is in Coyote that she meets the luscious Sheriff Lee Foxx. Although she is put off by the good sheriff's string of young dalliances, Kate cannot resist the lure of Lee's charm anymore than she can resist the lure of Coyote and it's enchanting citizenry. And of course there's a few twists and bumps in the road. I highly recommend "Coyote Sky" because when it comes to lesbian romance no one creates a better story than Gerri Hill.

Best to date!

Gerri Hill gets better and better with evey new novel she throws our way. I don't know why, but the little diddies on the back of the books never seem to do her stories' justice. "Coyote Sky" proves to be her best yet. I read it in one sitting, not because it was a quick read, but solely because I could not put it down. Her style of writing and her ability to develop characters is top notch, drawing the readers in and making them laugh, cry, and gripe right along with the characters. My only desire is that I'd love to see a sequel.
