I found only one type of motif here that isn't in Jane Greenoff's other books. The kitchen and food themed motifs are different. I like these designs but they come from various of her other older books. That being said, I do like how some of her floral themes are used in different ways, and how her landscape themes are showcased. This book is dated 1992 but I am glad that I bought it in 2010. Also, it is UK Country Cross Stitch not USA Country Cross Stitch and it is lovely. UK Country is not cutesy as is so much of USA Country cross-stitch. And much American Country is lovely, but it is not UK Style. The name Reader's Digest might lead one to believe Jane had designed some American Country Pieces, not so. My favorite books by Jane are "The Best Of Jane Greenoff's Cross Stitch," which includes many of her earlier motifs, "The NEW Cross Stitch Bible" and my all time favorite "Cross Stitch Antique Style Samplers," all published after 2000.
