Counting Things

I love the illustrations of this book but it isn’t super consistent with the “lift the flaps” theme. Sometimes it repeats images on one side of the flap and you’re NOT supposed to count that image but other times you ARE supposed to count the image. It’s a cute book but it got a little confusing when trying to show my toddler how to count. It also seems like it should have 2 more pages so that you’re able to just count to 10 by going up by one on each page. Instead the first page you have 2, then the middle all goes up by 1 until you get to the end where it goes from 8 to 10. Illustrations are nice and I wanted to love it but it just seems like it was poorly proofed and maybe the pages were cut down to save on costs.
