A month's worth of practical, well balanced, and nutritious vegetarian menus. 192 pages. Ceres Press, 1981. Paperback. First Revised Edition. ISBN 0960613803. This description may be from another edition of this product.
I am pretty sure I am not a clod or other foolish reader. And I like this book. I really appreciate that it has useable vegetarian menus in it, with foods that my family normally eats and enjoys. What has kept me back from using it as much as I'd like is that it doesn't have a format that is easy for me to use. I have to hunt around for what I may want to, or be able to, cook for a particular evening. What I'm thinking of doing is buying the book (I've been borrowing it from the library) and making a week by week run-down of what we may have, with a shopping list, such as I've seen in another menu cookbook that has been very easy to use (The Meal Planner, by Ann Marie Bramer). The second cookbook is easy to use, but the foods are not usually (!) wholefood selections, so it takes a little revision to cook with it.
