Molly Duff watches the clock on the classroom wall--tick, tick, tick. Nearly three o'clock. Time for Pee Wee Scouts Troop 23 runs out of the classroom and down the stairs--clop, clop, clop. Tuesday is their meeting day. Molly can't wait. Today Mrs. Peters, their troop leader, will show them how to bake cookies to earn a cookie badage. And next week is the big Skating Party But Molly has never baked or skated before. A cookie badge or a skating badge. Will Molly earn a badge at all?
This is one of my little sister's favorite childhood books - and the included cookie recipe has become a family favorite!

The Pee Wees have to make cookies and let Mrs. Peters taste them. They try and try, but still couldn't make them. My favorite quote from this book was when Molly says to Rachel, "You've got a hex on those running shoes!" This is an excellent book. You can read and enjoy it anytime!

We read this in our homeschool as a fiction read aloud. My son who is seven enjoyed hearing the book. He liked hearing about the scouts adventures. I'm sure we will be reading more Pee Wee Scout books soon.
