Convocacion Teacher's Edition

I have used this book as a textbook for Spanish 203 and 204. I like the diversity and regional composition of important Spanish writers. They are short stories, so for the student, it gives them a wide selection of accomplished artists who are known world wide for their writing skills, but the stories are not so long therefore, it does not intimidate them from attempting to read and comprehend the content of the stories. Por eso, es un libro muy excelente para enseñar español. I like the "user friendly" format for Spanish students and have enriched my own knowledge of favorite writers who have become famous in their own countries of origin. It is set up in a way that makes it easy for the teach to systematically cover the material. The authors are all well know, so there is an abundance of information on all of them. I ask students to write a short biography of the author as well as a synopsis of the story. We make vocabulary words and highlight expressions that may be regional. Great book in my opinion.
