Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1

This book is very easy to follow, is interesting and answer a lot of questions, we asking to our self.

I like how it displayed the major concepts of the book. I did not like how I do not have the actual book to reference for this guide book.

I have been wanting to read spiritual books. I am so fortunate that I came across this book. Its true that nothing happens by coincidence, my soul's yearning to know more about God has put this book in my path. Through this book, I felt God was talking to me directly. I am Hindu and I was grown with an open mind that God is one and only, he is not restricted by religions. The same thinking has made me read this book. Many people have warned that it might be a religious book. I can vouch that this is a spirituality book and not a religious book. I am fortunate to have experienced God through this book!

i didnt realize that this was the guidebook and not the actual book, so im bummed about that i was looking forward to reading it.

Conversations with God is a book that I read many years ago and at the time I was reading it I had never felt closer to God any time in my life I'm hoping to get that feeling back again.

This books makes God real. It turns everything over on its head- in a beautiful way. Why wouldn't God be like the One you'll discover in these pages? One of the most thoughtful books on God you will ever read. Warning: you must have an open mind to "get this book" and it's message. Not just for Christians at all.

If you scan through these ratings, you will probably notice that most of the 1 star ratings come from Christians who call this book Satanic or whatever, despite the fact that it's basically preaching love for all. To those that are Christian and don't want to read it because of the Christian reviews, I suggest opening your mind. Although some of the things the author says contradicts the Bible, many things agree, and it's refreshing to see a new perspective, whether or not you believe the author's story. I like many of the author's (or possibly God's) points. I learned a few things, was emotionally touched in some parts, and the book kept me entertained. That, to me, gives this book 5 stars. SATAN HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BOOK. I urge you hardcore belief people (no matter what religion) to open your mind and eyes... see something new for a change.

When I was very young, I did what all other christians do- i accepted Jesus into my heart. I believed 100% in the Bible. One night, at the age of 27 my husband (who is also christian) brought this book home for me. He believed it to be just another christian book. I found it fascinating. I read it in one sitting and could not put it down. The next morning I was very confused. I had NEVER before doubted my religion. I prayed and prayed for God to show me the truth that night and every night since. After all of that prayer, I have to admit that I have felt "led" to keep searching for answers not found in my church or The Bible. These answers and "this God" make more sense. This book and others like it do not give you an "okay to do everything you want" like many of the reviews have said. I do not believe that these reviewers have actually read and tried to understand the full content of these books. They are just scared like I was. Some are scared that the book is wrong and the work of the devil. Some are scared that the book is the truth and that what they have always been taught and believed in is wrong. The latter is how I now see it, and though it has caused me some anguish(due to sifting out a lot of what I used to believe in),it has mostly brought me joy and helped me truly experience the wonders of God and this world. The world is now a much more beautiful place than it ever was before.

I finally have a logical way to explain everything and every question I had about life and death, and God. Before this I was a border-agnostic. What was I thinking. A very powerful series and one that I have been recommending to everyone who will listen!
