This book is not out of print. The 2nd edition is still published by Geo-Resources Associates, 2236 Bunker Hill Drive, San Mateo, CA 94402. It was used in more than 250 different colleges and universities in teaching introductory geology, oceanography, and paleontology. The author has also written a definitive history of part of the plate tectonics revolution, thus this little book benefits from his deep understanding of the subject.
